Bear and Swan Coffee

In 2023, Katerina Kalamatianos and Daniel Kelly bought an old snow-cone trailer on Facebook Marketplace. With no experience (but plenty of caffeine), they converted it into a coffee truck. Bear and Swan Coffee officially opened in the summer of 2025 in Springfield, Virginia, popping up anywhere and everywhere that allowed them. Before long, they found themselves open regularly at Hunt Valley Swim Club, making regulars and becoming a neighborhood staple.

Kat and Daniel work on rebuilding Bear and Swan Coffee to come back to their community, bigger and better than before. None of it would be possible without our incredible community that keeps pushing us forward.
